This Valentine's Day we might not be able to take a date out to a restaurant and some couples, separated by distance or Covid regulations will have to explore a socially distanced or virtual Valentine's Day.  While that's not the most romantic of propositions we can still celebrate the love we have for our partners in other ways, and giving jewellery is one of the most long-standing, traditional ways to express your feelings on this special day.

You can order jewellery from Amore Argento online, so even if the shops are all closed where you are there are still ways to choose and send jewellery gifts your partner will adore.  We have a special Amore Hearts range which is perfect for Valentine's Day, featuring beautiful, sentimental jewellery that says more than words ever could.  Our heart necklaces are perfect for gifting to a lover as they will be wearing it close to their heart, and with a choice of combinations of hearts, lips and kisses you're sure to find something that will really speak to you and your relationship.  Our Love necklaces are also a gorgeous gift for your beloved, with a cubic zirconia or amethyst nestled in the 'O' to represent the sparkle of your relationship.

Our Love Me necklace is a gorgeous one to give a partner with whom you have children (or fur babies), as there are five smaller hearts nestled inside the main one, plus five cubic zirconia which can represent your children or pets.  The Sweetheart necklace is a delicate open heart that has three cubic zirconia inside which could also represent children or beloved pets.  Our Love You (and the smaller Love You Baby) necklaces use our signature heart shape logo, one nestled inside the other to show the protective nature of your love for each other.  The Hearts Entwined necklace features one heart wound around the other with two cubic zirconias which could represent children, or even the number of years you have been together.

If 2021 will be a significant year in your relationship then why not push the boat out and buy the Love Life sapphire or ruby necklace (with matching earrings that will be a great gift for your anniversary).  Sapphire is the stone for 45 and 65 years of marriage, while ruby represents 40 years.  Sapphire is also the birthstone for September, and July for ruby, so if this is a significant month (perhaps a birthday or the month you got married) then giving the Love Life necklace or earrings which relate to that month is a lovely, personal touch.

When it comes to choosing what sort of jewellery to give, it's best to avoid giving rings on Valentine's Day, especially if you're not spending it together, because it is very easy to misconstrue the gift of a ring if a partner is hoping for a proposal.  If you're able to explain to your beloved, perhaps in your card, that the ring is a promise ring or eternity ring and not an engagement ring, that is a good plan.  If your partner is the sort to jump to conclusions, be careful when giving rings on Valentine's Day unless you are proposing.  Our Love and Kisses Moonlight ring is a romantic option, as is the Cross my heart ring; we have lots of styles in eternity rings that would be equally as lovely as a promise ring.

Our Simply I Love U ring is a lovely understated solitaire ring with a single claw set cubic zirconia.  This timeless, classic style of ring works with every style at every age, so it's ideal for giving as a promise ring.  Our It's Love and Love Me Do rings also have a claw set central cubic, but both these rings have a shower of cubic zirconia down the shoulders of the ring for added sparkle.  The I Love You ring is a compromise between these styles, with a single cubic zirconia and three channel set cubic zirconia on each side.  This ring is particularly good for active people as the channel and claw settings used are very secure.
